There's a lotion you can get which is supposed to thin the hair out but you have to use it everyday. I actually learned about it in gardening class because there's some kind of plant extract in it which does the job.
I am interested in seeing more replies on this subject too. It seems now that it is getting warmer out the hair on my legs is growing quicker. Especially right under my knees down a few inches on the shin bone. UGH! The place where most , if any cuts occur will occur. LOL!
I just found Skintimate skin therapy shaving cream. It is "lotionized" and is made for dry skin with vitamin E. It's suppose to soften your skin as you shave. It comes in a pink can.
I have the same problem I have to shave every other day. I have seen this little hand held Hair Remover that is supposed to pull out the hair at the roots. It looks like a razor but it has tweezers instead. It supposed to be longer lasting and the regrowth of the hair is slower and finer. It sure sounds painful, I guess that is my hesitation in buying one. It does claim to minimize discomfort. But, I rather get some more input before I decide. Has anyone ever tried this?
My hair on my legs grows fast too so I just shave while I am in the shower every time. It goes quick as it is not a whole lot of hair to try to get off. It is part of my routine and I like soft legs.
I hate shaving! LOL There's nothing more tedious to me, and the depilatory creams never work on me.
What I have been trying is a lotion that is supposed to minimize the need to shave by softening and lightening the hair on the legs while moisturizing the skin and leaving it soft and smooth.
Summer time is almost upon us, and the time for shorts and bathing suits is creeping ever closer! A challenge I often face is how to keep my legs smooth and hairless for a long period of time. I don't really care for the store bought brands with the harsh chemicals and odor that comes with them. I also sometimes get those painful red, itchy bumps after shaving. Anyone have some ideas for great looking legs?
