What a great article! Some good advice there. Thanks! Flax seed meal, I hadn't heard of that before. I am adding that to the shopping list. Where would I find it?
I forgot about that one...I did have a bag but the expiration date expired. It was pretty tasty on cereal and in corn muffin mix and sprinkled on yogurt, too. Sounds interesting as a breading for chicken and fish.
Another option is flax seed meal, you can mix it in smoothies or sprinkle it over your food, include it in baked goods and breading for chicken or fish.
I heard that fish oil has a tendency to "repeat"...I didn't want to take the chance of that. A friend of mine takes salmon oil. The flax oil seems to agree with me and my GI problems. They're all a part of the omega family, so I guess it's just a matter of choice.
One thing many people forget with skin care is getting enough essential fatty acids in our diets. They can be found in things like fish oils and oily fish, flax seeds, EVOO, avocados and seeds.
