I just picked up some new lip colors this weekend for fall! One color is called "Sundance" and its a beautiful coppery color, but very light. SOO pretty! I'm really looking forward to all the neutral colors. Has anyone else started "redoing" their makeup collection for the fall?
Anyone have some yummy fall recipes to share? I need some new things to try, something that is warm, filling and makes me think of the changing seasons!
Emily, this is good to hear as I've always been one on the side of subtlety with makeup. I love the "I'm not wearing makeup" look. Sheer lipsticks and natural colors that just make you look fresh and clean and not overdone.
The trend towards greens will be nice. I have hazel eyes, so greens are an ideal color for me. Brown, not so much, but I do like a really nice cream color on my eyes to go with the greens.
And of course, I will be delighted for the heat to break!
I love the color brown, and tend to lean toward soft, lighter browns when fall/autumn comes around for my eyes. I love lip gloss too, and pick a auburn color with alot of shine. I like to be subtle but warm too so I think that way when I apply makeup or buy new shades. Every year they seem to come out with new autumn collections thankfully and take the guesswork out for me!
What I've seen has said that the trend is going toward the natural, any color that you can find in nature will be seen in makeup. natural green brown and grey shades, and no right blues, lighter, paler blues, and avoid bright colors, reds and yellows. I've also seen that lip color is going to be more natural too, no reds, purples, et cetera, but clears, peaches, natural browns and pinks.
