I don't think you're nuts, BeautyNBeast! Actually I think it's a great idea! I mean, we choose our shoes, accessories and makeup to match what we're wearing so why not deodorant! Hmmm....wonder if they make a pumpkin pie scented one for Thanksgiving? LOL
LOL Host_DonnaA! My entire family thinks I'm nuts. I even buy different scents for different seasons! I love a plain vanilla for fall, a citrus or flowery scent for spring/summer, etc. Do you do this as well?
I'm so happy to know I'm not the only anal one when it comes to laundry! I want my clothes to smell nice and clean and the scent to last. I love the lavendar and vanilla, BUT it just doesn't seem to last to me. I also have to wash my middle child's laundry seperate since she has severe eczema. She can only use a Free and Clear detergent.
You're very welcome! I thought the same and was really amazed at how well it did work - though all my friends called me a hippie, lol.
No, I haven't tried the laundry soaps yet. I love lavender and think it's an awesome clean scent, the only ones I've sound yet though have some funky vanilla or sandlewood that to me makes it too heavy and defeats the lovely, light, crisp lavender scent. I smelled the lemon one, but it wasn;t strongly scented enough for me, lol. I love my clothes to be fragrant and sparkling - I'm very anal about our laundry (okay, I'm just plain, anal, lolol)

Thanks for the info on this Donna...I have been wanting to try the mineral stone but didnt think I would like it because I am so used to the creamy feel of deoderant that it drives me nuts not to wear it. I think this would be the best alternative for me, I am going to look for this while I am out tonight. I don't know if any of you have tried the naturals line of laundry soap but it my favorite, you can actually still smell it over the fabric softener fragrance.
Another fan here for the Secret Platinum but I could not tell you what the flavor is . I just grab one of them since they all smell pretty good. It works great and I never ever have a problem staying dry. Now my mom does have to change between a few brands because her body gets used to one and will stop working.
The only commercial deodorant that really works for me is Arridd XX, I love the girly scents of some of the others, I love the pear scented Dove I think it is, but 2 hours later, it's not pears you're smelling, lol.
Virginia was asking about natural alternatives, believe it or not I tried one of the mineral salt rocks years ago and it really did work. I got it in the natural foods store. It has mineral salts and it lasts forever, so even with the modest ($5) investment, it was a frugal purchase. (You dampen the stone and then rub it under your arms.)

Different deodorant for different seasons for me. I really guess you could say for different moods to as funny as that sounds. I have secret platnum in georgia peach, the dove go fresh in different scents, suave in sweet pea smells really good, but is better for cooler days, suave unscented. This is really funny because I never really thought of all the deodorants I do have.
