Yes, Virginia, there's something about having a small needle plunged into your face over and over that makes wrinkles more appealing. And there are some horror stories about collogen. Google Pete Burns and see the effects of collagen, it can cause horrible infections. Pete actually has a support group for people suffering from collagen malpractice and people considering collagen treatments.
I know for sure I wouldn't use botox, no way. It kind of freaks me out to inject anything into my face! I think the most I would do is use some creams or maybe look into some natural remedies on my face once the wrinkles come. I am a bit yellow-bellied when it comes to things like botox, collagen and all that! LOL!
If I had a whole lot of wrinkles I might get some collagen to help out. I don't like the look of the Botox where your face is so stiff that nothing moves. I think that makes it more noticable that you have had something done.
I think plastic surgery has it's limitations. I don't know, but look at pictures of say Janice Dickenson, Cher - undeniably beautiful women who have had lots of plastic surgery. But for me the area over the eyes is a dead give away. They may be smooth and tight, but the hollowing of that area is the harbinger of age to me. (Steve Tyler has them too, btw, lol). There may well be a reason they can't fill in that area, but for me it's a dead giveaway.

Definitely not! All you hear these days are horror stories about how this star's treament failed, or how that person's treatment when wrong, so on and so forth. I think there's times when we carry our desire to look good and permanently young just a little too far, and Botox, collagen and the like are ample proof of it.
I don't think I would. I don't want anything put into my skin or body that is synthetic or poison just to get rid of a wrinkle. That and the fact that I am not too fond of needles would keep me away.
I used to think not, but now I think I probably would. I'd research a reputable doctor and check out his work...there's only so much creams, serums and moisturizers can do (unfortunately).
Possibly, I would weigh the pros and cons of it. Most people don't realize these things are not permanant. One of the reasons I would consider anything like this is because when I get stressed I tend to scrunch up my forehead to the point its painful.
In the news, there's been stories lately about how collagen, Botox and synthetic venoms are being used to counteract the appearance of wrinkles in women; some of the stories address how these treatments can go wrong.
If you had the means and the opportunity, would you use collagen, Botox or some of these synthetic venoms to treat wrinkles?
