I'm so glad that worked for you!  Be wary though of some of the liquid type remedies that you dab on.  Not only do they take forever (on the box it says up to 11 weeks!) but they are really harsh on sensitive skin.  My son had a bad reaction to it, causing his skin to turn red around the wart and alot of itching.  Plus the smell is quite strong and not at all pleasant!  Just be careful and read the back of the box before you buy!  :)

I am glad it worked! I know it seems expensive, but a doctor visit and treatment would cost more! I am glad it is gone!

I ended up using that Freeze-Off stuff; it worked really well.  It was kind of expensive to be honest, but it was worth it because it was gone so fast.  In the end that's what I really wanted, it to be g-o-n-e!  :-D

Were you able to get rid of your wart? What worked the best for you? My son has had them and you don't even want to know what he does to them lol. I would love a normal alternative that worked!

My daughter had a plantar wart on the bottom of her foot, I asked the Dr about it and he said one of the OTC's would be fine. We used the liquid stuff because it was still flush with the skin yet but in a hole of sorts; I was truly scared to use the freeze stuff and chance killing of the tissue around the wart. It took about a week before the wart itself came out of the hole and them she walked around for about two weeks with a hole in her foot and it grew back with what looked like roots poking out of it. We used the liquid again for about a week and it is finally gone! I hated the whole process I had one as a kid and know they are painful to walk on.

I had a lot of warts as a kid and most had to burned/frozen off. What I didn't know then about common warts is that they are slightly contagious so they can spread if you aren't careful.

The aspirin idea sounds good, plus the bandaid would avoid contamination.

Aspirin sounds like a great idea. I have had one on my finger before and it drove me crazy. None of the OTC stuff worked but that was so long ago they might be work better now. I would try the aspirin for sure. A lot cheaper too.

I don't know if even with all the great OTC's that they would work with Plantar's warts. Thgy have incredibly deep root. I had two when I was a kid. They hurt like crazy!

I had one on the bottom of my foot once and it hurt so bad. At the time they did not have all the great products on the market that they do now so I had to go to the doctor and he froze it off. That new freeze off wart stuff looks pretty good.

I've only had one before, but I agree that the OTC stuff that freezes it is WONDERFUL! Until you can treat it, bluejazz, you can always just pop on a bandaid and noone will know what's under it! :) Good luck!

I hate warts! I am sorry to hear about the ones you have. Aspirin? That sounds great, and cheap! I have used several over-the-counter products, and the one that worked best is the one that freezes it. I have only had 4, but that was 4 too many!

I  have one on the joint of one of my fingers, I haven't done it yet, but I have heard that if you dampen an asprin and put it on the wart (use bandaid to hold it on) that it will kill it.

Ewww!  I've discovered I have a small wart on my right thumb!  It's really annoying and it's also kind of tender.  Anyone have any ideas on how I can hide it?  :-\
