The Time of the Tweens

My daughter is a tween so she's beginning to be visited by the Dreaded Pimple Fairy. The kid is really too young for the strong cleansing products so I'm not sure what to do for her. I remember when I was just a bit older than she is now. I used to hate looking at my face in the mornings because that darn Fairy was a frequent visitor and boy, did she have it out for me. Hopefully, the Fairy will take pity on my daughter for all the put me through and pass our house by on her nightly treks across the world.

Have you thought about products for sensitive skin. They shouldn't be to harsh for her. I don't have a problem getting my daughter to cleanse her face, now my son is another matter entirely.

I remember with my own daughter that bathing and grooming were an issue in general at that age. Getting her to bathe regularly was a challenge and instituting a skin care regimen would have been impossible! If you aren't having that issue with your daughter, try simple soap (a mild face soap) and water and see if you can get her to wash her face twice a day. It's simple, but could instill good skin care habits for a lifetime.
